Set within the luxuriant coastal landscape of Alibaug, Estate de Revessa by Quirk Studio emerges as a serene holiday retreat shaped for a young couple and their family. Conceived as an immersive sanctuary, the estate responds with quiet sensitivity to its natural surroundings. The design philosophy is rooted in contemporary elegance, expressed through clean lines, expansive volumes, and spaces that flow effortlessly between indoors and outdoors.
Drawing from modernist clarity, the home is carefully oriented to deepen the connection between architecture and environment. Vast floor to ceiling openings on both sides frame sweeping views of the garden and pool, creating a composition where natural light becomes both a functional and poetic element. These transparent planes encourage a continual visual dialogue with nature, allowing the built form to soften and dissolve into its verdant context. The architecture acts as a vessel for calm, blurring the boundaries between interior living and the open landscape that envelops it.
At the heart of the residence lies an outdoor haven conceived as an extension of the interior world. A tranquil swimming pool, an open air bar, and a relaxed lounge area come together to shape a versatile social spine. This alfresco realm adapts with ease, accommodating slow mornings, intimate conversations, or vibrant gatherings under the evening sky. It anchors the home both spatially and emotionally, becoming a place where leisure and togetherness unfold naturally.
Inside, the design embraces a coastal inspired palette marked by restraint and sophistication. Gentle monotones create a serene backdrop that allows curated artworks, textured furnishings, and crafted decor elements to stand out with quiet beauty. Each of the four bedrooms, along with a warm and intimate den, is envisioned as a private cocoon. These spaces offer a balance of seclusion and connection, aligning with the home’s broader narrative of rest, reflection, and understated luxury.
