Text description by the designer;

The clients purchased a bare-shell three-bedroom apartment in a newly constructed tower in Worli with a magnificent view of the Bandra-Worli Sealink. The home needed to be timeless in its elegance.

The design team at We Design Studio chose muted, warm, earthy tones to accentuate the design language, with splashes of colour to highlight particular elements and spaces. These deceptively elusive details bring out the lucidity of a domestic milieu, encapsulating the inherent magnanimity of austerity and simplicity.

Upon entering, the most breathtaking feature is the welcoming foyer which leads to the central living and dining space, where a large balcony unveils a panoramic view of the Bandra-Worli Sealink. A neutral material palette of white, beige, and brown ensures warmth and a classic charm. The kitchen and staff quarters lie to the left of the entrance foyer, while a long passage on the right connects the bedrooms. Every room comes with a spacious sea-facing balcony to allow a seamless connect with the breezy outdoors.

The planning is optimised to ensure zero wastage of space and each room is designed to be user-friendly and generously proportioned. A curved wall behind the dining table is tactically placed to break away from the monotony of linear walls, exuding the ambience of a Goan Villa. An inviting outdoor bar is set in the living room balcony, where the family can unwind with a glass of wine while enjoying the stellar view.

Light beige marble floors and repositories finished in warm white become the perfect backdrop for a light and airy home. Fluted glass is ingeniously used as an infill to the doors to maximise the spread of natural light. Bespoke furniture modules were built using old Burma teakwood finished in natural linseed oil polish. A magnificent white quartz stone is employed for the kitchen counter and dining table, giving the spaces the right touch of elegance.
