cc-tapis Launches the Venus Power Rug Collection influenced and inspired by Graffiti Art by Patricia Urquiola.

Product Name : Venus Power Rug Collection

Designer : Designed by Patricia Urquiola for cc tapis

The essence of femininity is what defines the new collection of 4 rugs designed and launched by cc-tapis group in their latest collection. The designs are evocative, powerful, and mystique. Sources Unlimited, a well-established and reputed name in the Indian market credited for their high-end luxury lighting solutions, international furniture, and luxurious accessories has collaborated with cc-tapis to unveil The Venus Power collection which is a group of 4 rugs combined aesthetically: We all come from Venus, Nuvola, Cirrus, and Venus. The rugs are available in three exotic color combinations blue, pink, and green, symbolising the many facets of feminine mood, power, and being. cc-tapis is an Italian company, which produces contemporary hand-knotted rugs that are created in Nepal by expert Tibetan artisans.

The collection is influenced and inspired by Graffiti Art, a famous art movement in the 1960s. As a homage, the mission statement resonates deeply with the aesthetics of Graffiti Art. The collection is strongly hued with black lines that define the perimeter of floating shapes and identify the single letters that compose the phrase “We all come from Venus”. At the heart of the design lies the hypnotic and mysterious texture (in combinations of blue, green, and pink) which is inspired by the volatile yet intriguing atmosphere of the planet Venus.

The core embraces and celebrates the shades of positive sentiments, playfulness, and the streaks of strong yet powerful virtues of femininity – a metaphor that’s not only the inspiration behind the collection; but the philosophy the artists and the brand believe in. The collection speaks of the need to embrace the feminine that exists in each one of us, which when accepted, embraced, and listened to can open a whole new dimension and meaning to life and our potential.

From the house of Jaipur Rugs, comes Inde Rose—an ultra-luxurious collection of carpets by designer and luxury savant Vinita Chaitanya.

Inde Rose is French for India Rose, and much like a rose in bloom is a delicate unfurling of Vinita Chaitanya’s lifetime of observations—of nature, of gardens, of colour, texture and techniques. “I look at nature wherever I am,” says the designer who is also an avid nature lover. But what elevates the Inde Rose collection of carpets into collector’s items is Vinita’s penchant for layering. This manifests in the most charming ways: as print-on-print; as luxurious pastel-dyed silk; as textural contrasts; and most significantly, as carpet pairings that can be layered for maximum effect.

Though named after flowers that bloom linearly over time, Inde Rose’s carpets broaden the horizons in all directions, simultaneously. Through these intricate, multi-layered and layerable assemblies, Vinita reinterprets traditional Indian aesthetic markers through a glamourous and distinctly international lens. On the carpets, India’s intense and jewel-toned colours are refashioned into expressive pastels; elements of its palace architecture become frames; and its profusion of rich foliage becomes the backdrop for processions of artistically caparisoned elephants—and all of this, rendered into opulent reality with Jaipur Rugs’ expertise with material and method.

Inde Rose comprises five coordinated pairings of hand-knotted silk carpets that use Persian weaving techniques. Each pair has one graphic-heavy piece and a visually lighter one that subtly mirrors its palette and patterns. The idea of coordinated rugs has historical and royal precedence when entire rooms in palaces were created using a central theme. But Vinita revives this historic tradition and takes it to the next level with fantastical plays on shape, size, colour, texture and design. Patterns mix with prints and shapes with colours and textures to transform spaces from mundane to magnificent. It is a dazzling idea, and could only have been imagined by someone with a deep understanding of maximalism and multiple decades of holistic design experience.

Inde Rose channels art, architecture, design and nature into larger-than-life art objects that harmonise, and in doing so, creates relationships between spaces, bodies, and the experience of beauty and luxury.

Eris Home brings the elegance of Mughal architecture to the contemporary home with an exquisite new Spring-Summer collection

Translating the geometry of jharokhas, jaalis and domes into delicate textural motifs, the Mughal collection is steeped in aesthetic detail.

The enduring legacy of the Mughals receives an elegant homage in Eris Home’s newest collection of luxury cushions. Inspired by the architectural heritage of the erstwhile empire, whose monuments permeate even the smallest by-lanes of New Delhi, the eponymous “Mughal” collection is characterised by a rich yet subdued sophistication. Delicate silver foiling, beadwork and hand embroidery on deep velvet creates an enigmatic interplay of visual detail. The jharokhas, jaalis and domes that define Mughal architecture are translated into intricate patterns that are meditative to the eye and soothing to the touch. Much like the monuments that inspired it, the Mughal collection commands a striking balance between effortless luxury and eye-catching workmanship. The tones and textures of each piece in the collection showcases the Eris Home’s intuitive ability to compliment exquisite design with soft, comforting finishes.

The “Zeenat” is an understated design in wine or royal blue, ideal as a backdrop for a living room arrangement or as a simple accent in a minimalist palette. The “Nur” ornaments the sheen of grey velvet with an intricate pattern inspired by the iconic Mughal floral motif. Finally, the “Mumtaz” harkens back to the gilded glory that the Mughals are best known for, complimenting the glimmer of grey or wine velvet with an exaggerated, dynamic geometry.

“Through our Mughal spring summer collection’s masterful design, we wanted to reimagine the regal glory of the Mughal era for the contemporary home,” says Sanjana Lunia, Founder and Creative Head, Eris Home.

The Mughal collection also continues Eris Home’s dedication to the environment, and is crafted using natural fibres, ahimsa silk and minimal artificial intervention. The brand makes an effort to produce and source the fabrics in the most ethical way possible, thereby paving the path towards sustainable, responsible luxury lifestyle. Through a commitment to design, craftsmanship and sustainability, Eris Home succeeds in reviving the glory of the past with a focus towards a better future.
